Off the Back of the Release:
RicksMusicArchives .com is proud to present The Libertines live from the famous 12 Bar Club on Tin Pan Alley, London., the Internet broadcaster for, broadcast top groups from London and New York City for over five years. The Libertines, one of the hottest groups of the times, played an incredible set for broadcast and this is that concert.

The Libertines warm up the tiny 12 Bar stage. Featuring Carl Barat (Vocals/lead guitar), Pete Doherty (Vocals/rhythm guitar), and John Hassall featured on bass OnlineTV records a marvelous and historic set. Shot live at 12 Bar club, one of the hottest venues of that time, this video presents a look at the group as it just started to get footing into their drive for top tier group. Their talent was a not in question and it was only a matter time.

You are now holding history as these archived recordings of leading edge music are released for the first time since broadcast. You have stage seating for a trip back in time to see something you never thought possible, early footage of The Libertines. The band has changed some and gone through long and dirty roads, but the basic talent and music was there. Barat and Doherty had created a sort of Andy Warhol’s Warehouse in their home in North London where the music was created. They created a real art scene expressing itself in music. Gigs like this were their testing grounds where they played and tried out their styles.

Enjoy a real treasure in this archival footage of a great band in the making.
