Hi I'm looking for a track from 1992. I think its called 666. And contains the same or similar vocal sample "Six hundred and sixty-six, the number of the beast" It's quite break beaty with a techno vibe. Also, I seem to remember a female sample that said "Its so intense!" ... Any help would be gratefully received!
I think it could be! Great piece of European sounding piece of breakbeat with techno. I think the UK started calling it Jungle Techno didn't they lol ;)
It's not The Motherfucking Beast on this per chance? No spoken female vocal though. So it's probably not it after all :(
Prince Persie
Don't forget to twist and shout otherwise there will be hell to pay. Militant hats, rebounding kicks and gut tearing aerial acrobatics. This badass slab of compressed dead dinosaur juice has it all. Twister fucking shreds and will dump your sweaty raving carcass a long way from Kansas. Not a whole lot else to it really.
Wooden Purple Romeo
Well 7th copy now. And still flimsy as a piece of vinyl. Maybe I'm unlucky? Maybe this would be a wicked e.p. re-released. Every track is a banger! And unique too! But Twister always does it for me! Sorry for repeating myself but you will not find a sound quite like it anywhere! ;)
Threshold uses samples from Praga Khan 'Injected With a Poison'. Has 'are you listening to me' and a screaming 'yeah, come on' vocal samples. It quite possibly is the best remix of the Praga Khan tune!
The Rollers of Vildar
Please listen to this my friend, Praga Khan is heavily sampled in this..
Dated, dated release. Acid-tainted sounds and dodgy vocal samples, typical of the early rave days. If "The Beast" and "Hysteria" still retain some sort of touching scent of the "good old days", "Threshold" flirts with the unbearably cheesy. "Twister", on the other hand... Thundering bassdrum, immediately recognisable hi-hats, then twisting menacing Acid line, like the Devil watching the casualties from the top of a twister. That track is immortal.
